Ronald Ray Mullis

Ronald Ray Mullis, age 80, of Mint Hill, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly at Novant Hospital in Charlotte on July 8, 2025, surrounded by family.
Ronald was born in Charlotte on September 8, 1944, to his late parents, Harold “Penny” Mullis and Martha Honeycutt Mullis. He was preceded in death by three of his brothers, his twin Donald “Banjo” Mullis, Harold “Junior” Mullis and Billy Mullis. He is survived by his siblings; Portia Watson (Robert), Irene Furr (Larry), Charles Mullis, Tommy Mullis (Kathy) and Shirley Kiser (Billy).
His memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Ronald will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 6335 Wilson Grove Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM. Ronald will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road Mint Hill, NC 28227.
