Bobby Lynwood Sims

Rock Hill, SC – Mr Bobby Lynwood Sims, 83, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Grandview Memorial Park, 620 South Cherry Road, Rock Hill, with Reverend Jerry Devinney officiating. Visitation with family and friends will follow the service at the cemetery.

Born in Rock Hill, SC, Mr. Sims was the son of the late Hoyt Sims and the late Helen Stewart Love. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Katherine Stewart Sims, second wife, Linda Cloniger Sims, his son, Bobby Lyn Sims and his stepfather, George Love. He was retired from Rock Hill Printing & Finishing with 40 years of service. He enjoyed meeting and talking with people, riding around town and visiting. He remembered everyone and everything from his past and would love to share it with others.

Mr. Sims is survived by three sons, Ronald Lynwood (Monica) Sims of Rock Hill, Michael Sims of Indian Land, SC, and Richie (Kim) Cloniger of Richburg, SC; two daughters, Laura Sims of Catawba, SC, Kelly Calhoun of Rock Hill; four granddaughters, Angie Sims, Kristy Sims, Kayce Calhoun, and Kayla Mackey; two grandsons, Ronnie Sims, and Christian Sims; five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Chandler, Isiah, Cason and Myles; two nieces, Debbie and Joy.
