Rosa Patrick

May 17, 1934 - December 24, 2023 (Age 89)

Rosa Ann Elizabeth Davis born on May 17, 1934 in Union City, Georgia

to the late William and Clara Davis. She had a loving close knit family

of three brothers and three sisters.

The family moved to Dayton, Ohio to make a better life. Rosa was baptized at an

early age . She left Dayton and moved to Columbus, Ohio with her sister, Nora

Kate. Rosa joined Mt. Herman Baptist Church and sang in the choir. She attended

Central High School and graduated in 1952.

She married the love of her life, Charles H. Patrick in 1956 and lived a happy and

good life together for 44 years.

Rosa was taught to be a hard worker as a child. She loved her job at T. Marzetti,

Inc. The highlight of her working career was in the Housing, Food Service and

Events Center at The Ohio State University for over 43 years. She worked in

Bradford, Baker and North Commons and enjoying developing lasting relation-

ships with students and staff to this day. During her time at OSU she received

recognitions and accolades.

Rosa was a special lady, loving and generous. She was a loving caregiver that

cared for several family members with love, dedication and commitment. She was

loved by her family and friends and always greeted you with a beautiful smile and

her sense of humor. She had a love of family gatherings, exercise, health, cooking

and gardening. After a blessed, long and full life of 89 years, she peacefully went to be with the

Lord and heavenly family on December 24th, 2023 at the Inn at Winchester Trail

Assisted Living.

She is preceded in death by husband Charles H. Patrick, brothers Willie, Elijah and

Elisha Davis, sisters Nora Kate Watkins, Clara M. Arnold and Mary E. Scarver.

To cherish her memory - Nieces Doris (Frank) Nelson and Earlene McCall

(Columbus, Ohio); Clara R. Johnson, Pauline Cunningham, Earl (Dorothy) Arnold(Georgia) and a host of relatives and friends.
