Rosalyn Garman

Rosalyn. Garman, 80, of Murrysville , passed away peacefully , Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, in UPMC East, Monroeville, surrounded by her family. She was born March 24, 1945 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Leonard "Leo" and Rose ( Flanders) Garzarelli. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna M. Garzarelli.

Prior to her retirement, Rosalyn was a histotechnologist in the field of veterinary pathology, along side her husband , for more than 25 years. She loved traveling and interior decorating . Spending time with her husband was always a special day. She especially liked getting together with her high school classmates, the Sewickley High School Class of 1963. But her favorite activity to do, was to clean, organize, and decorate.

Rosalyn is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Robert Garman, of Murrysville; her two daughters, Kimberly ( Raymond) Taylor and Robin Poland both of Pittsburgh; two step-sons, Andrew ( Debbie) Garman and Raymond Garman, both of Chicago; four special grandchildren, Dominique Ross, Connor Ross, Emily Garman, and Tyler Garman; her brother, Len ( Joan) Garzarelli of Manor ; and numerous nieces and nephews ; great-nieces;and great-nephews; and cousins. Rosalyn will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and neighbors.

Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. , Saturday, Oct. 18th, 2025 , in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
