Rose Marie Reiter

Rose Marie Reiter, 84, of Greensburg, formerly of Irwin, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born July 4, 1939, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John W. and Elizabeth (Steel) Reiter. She was a graduate of North Huntingdon High School Class of 1958. Rose worked for Jeannette District Memorial before retiring from Greensburg Care Center. She was a resident of Gilbert Straub where she enjoyed her friends and playing bingo. She loved the Steelers, Klondike Bars, and going to the zoo. She is survived by her sister, Patricia (Reiter) Tantlinger and husband Ralph; a nephew, Brian Tantlinger (Debra); two nieces, Reneè Bensur (Christopher), and Jodi Tantlinger (James Richards); two great-nephews, Brandon and Bradley Tantlinger; and a great-niece, Ashley Bensur. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral liturgy will begin at 11 AM Monday in the funeral home. Private interment in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
