Rosemarie Stiffler
September 22, 1949 - May 18, 2025 (Age 75)
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemarie Stiffler, 75, of Bedford, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at her son's home in O'Fallon, Illinois. Born on September 22, 1949, in Bedford, she was the cherished daughter of the late Raymond and Rosina (Burgmuller) Ickes.
Rosemarie dedicated her life to her family and community. Following her graduation from high school, she married Robert E. Habinyak, and though their 20-year marriage later dissolved, it blessed them with two sons, Robert and Ryan. Later in life, she found companionship and love with Irvin "Skip" Stiffler, whom she married in 1995. Sadly, Skip preceded her in death in 2007.
A woman of unwavering faith, Rosemarie was an active member of Crossroads Bible Church, where she found solace and purpose. She was known throughout Bedford for her generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand. Rosemarie had a knack for bringing people together, and her home was often filled with laughter and warmth as she hosted countless family gatherings. A truly exceptional cook, she poured her love into every dish she prepared.
Rosemarie's memory will be forever cherished by her surviving family: her devoted sister, Tami (Ickes) Walsh; her loving son, Rob Habinyak, and his wife, MeChelle (Hawkins) Habinyak; Tiffany Habinyak; and her adoring grandchildren, Amber (Habinyak) Christy and husband Joeseph Christy, Heather Habinyak (daughters to Rob and MeChelle), Gavin (and his special other Sara Wilt) and Jocelyn Habinyak (son and daughter of Ryan and Tiffany Habinyak); and her precious great-grandchildren, Lilliana and Giulia Christy, and Kinzlee Rose Habinyak (daughter to Gavin and Sara).
In addition to her husband, Irvin Stiffler, and her parents, Raymond and Rosina Ickes, Rosemarie was preceded in death by her brother, Warner Ickes, and her beloved youngest son, Ryan Ray Habinyak.
Rosemarie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will forever be etched in our hearts. We find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, embraced in the loving arms of God.
A celebration of Rosemarie's life will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Crossroads Bible Church, located at 5564 Business 220, Bedford PA. Friends and family are invited to gather beginning at 10:00 AM, with the service commencing at 11:00 AM. A meal will be provided at the church immediately following the service. Interment will be a private ceremony for the family.
