Roy R. McFadden, 99 of Zanesville, passed to Heaven on November 4, 2021.
Born on June 27, 1922 in Fostoria, Ohio, son of the late George and Katherine McFadden. He was a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Air Force. Roy later owned McFadden’s Cabinet Shop. He was a true artisan, hand crafting antique reproduction furniture. Roy had a passion for dancing and enjoyed the music of the Big Bang era. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers, Harold, Robert, and Albert, all of Fostoria. Roy survived his beloved wife and the mother of his children, Betty J. McFadden, who passed away in 1979.
He is survived by his 2 children, Terry Lee McFadden Sr. (Dee) and Susan K. Wilson (Harold). He leaves 3 grandchildren, Terry L. McFadden Jr. (Stacy), Randy Wilkes, Molly Paynter (Shad); seven great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A private Graveside Service will be held in honor of Roy.
