Russell W. Bryant

Russell “Rutt” Bryant, age 97, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2022, at the Post assisted living, in Mint Hill, NC. She was born March 26th, 1925 in Kernersville, NC to Samuel and Maude Walker. Russell Married the love of her life Arthur w. Bryant on December 24th, 1944, they enjoyed 63 years loving years together before his passing on May 30th, 2007. She was a very devoted and wonderful mother to five children using her incredible seamstress skills to make her own clothes as well as the clothes for her children along with the entire uniforms for the Garinger High school Cheerleaders. Russell had an amazing relationship with the lord and was a longtime member of Northside Baptist church in Charlotte, NC. Russell is preceded in death by her loving husband Arthur Wade Bryant and Four siblings. She will always be remembered by those who cherished her most, her daughter Debbie and her husband Randy Case of Pageland, sc, Brenda Bryant of Indian Trail, NC, son Russell and his wife Brenda Bryant of Indian Trail, NC, son Gene Bryant of Indian Trail, NC, Son David Bryant of Monroe, NC, and her brother Coley Walker of Charlotte, NC, Russell will be missed by her Eleven Grandchildren, sixteen Great-Grandchildren, and Two Great-Great-Grandchildren, as well as her 15 year old Jack Russell mix named Maggie. Mrs. Bryant will be having a graveside service at Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill, NC on May 31st, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
