Ruth A. Tipton

Ruth A. Tipton "Grams", age 95, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Inn At University Village in Massillon. She was born in Carrollton, Ohio on June 24, 1928, a daughter of the late Robert C. and Nettie G. (Magee) Hill.

Mrs. Tipton was a graduate of Carrollton High School. She had worked and retired from R.C.A. and N.C.R. after over 37 years. She enjoyed traveling, bowling and attending the Secrest Senior Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Carl R. Tipton; three brothers, Billy, Raymond and Harry Hill; and a sister Helen Lowdermilk.

Surviving are: two daughters, Carla (Kenneth) Sells of Bellfontaine and Barbara Gribble Massollin; a son Mark (Joanne) Tipton of Copley; ten grandchildren, Eric Egnot, Nicole (Zac) Wernlund, Aleisha Stanley, Amanda (Brandon)Doppelheuer, Erin (Dan) Gulling, Sara Gribble, Grace (Ben) Tercek, Jason Gribble, Nick (Janis) Gribble, Jenny (Tim) Kennedy; great grandchildren: Caden Gribble, Paige Gribble, Logan Gamery, Zoe Gribble, Parker Gribble, Kessa Doppelheuer, Emma Egnot, Everett Hayward, Lincoln Gulling, Evie Gulling, Mara Doppelheuer, Malcolm Wernlund and Mia Gulling; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm with the service to begin at 1 pm. The service will be officiated by grandson Eric Egnot with burial to follow in Guernsey Memory Gardens. Memorial donations may be sent to the Secrest Senior Center P. O.
