Ruth Marie Anderson
September 19, 1933 - January 20, 2025 (Age 91)
Ruth Marie Pletcher Anderson, 91, of Roseville went to be with the Lord Monday, January 20, 2025, at the Morrison Hospice House. She was born September 19, 1933, to the late Ronald and Ina (Harrop) Pletcher of Duncan Falls. She was a graduate of Philo High School. Ruth worked as a bus driver for New Lexington School district. She was a homemaker, who helped on the farm and always had several entries at the Perry County Fair. She was a member of the New Lexington FFA Alumni, Perry County Homemakers and Olive Branch Chapter #210 Eastern Star. She was a 4H Advisor for many years.
She is survived by her son Howard (Peggy) Anderson of Roseville; daughter Glenna (Jerry) Holbrook of New Lexington; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; siblings: Connie (Frank) Clifton, Janet (Roy)Cox, Jean (Don) Neal, Shirley Spring, Pam (Bill) Barrett and Earl Pletcher; brothers in law: Farrell Anderson and Jim Guthrie; and several nieces, nephews and special friends Brenda Lewis and Tina Love.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Glen Anderson, who passed away April 8, 2013, and she married August 8, 1952; a son Ivan Anderson; a daughter Diane Koska; a brother Carl Pletcher; and several sisters and brothers in law.
The family wants to thank the staff at Genesis Hospital and Genesis Hospice Morrison House for the amazing care Ruth received.

Calling hours will be held from 3 to 7PM Thursday, January 23, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will begin at 11AM Friday, January 24, in The Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Mark Combs and Rev. Al Laese officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
