Samuel Weller
July 17, 1946 - April 29, 2025 (Age 78)
Samuel Weller, 78, husband of Elizabeth A. (McMullen) Weller of Pottstown passed away on Tuesday April 29, 2025 at his residence.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Charles Russell Weller and the late Marian (Auman) Weller.
Sam was a molder at Keystone Foundry for thirty years, retiring in 1995.
He was a member of the German Club, Pottstown Quoit Club, Pikeville Sportsman Association, Holy Trinity Club and the Pottstown Orioles. He was an avid fisherman, loved to play pool and gamble.
Surviving besides his wife is a son Brian J. Weller and his wife Mary, Pottstown; two daughters, Barbie J. Weller, Birdsboro, Bonnie J. wife of Steven Tyson, Pottstown; a brother Charles Weller, Coatesville; a sister, Gloria McNeal, Pottstown and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, David Weller and five sisters, Barbara Ludy, Betty Lingenfelter, Floss Moyer, Mag High and Shirley Large.
A viewing will be held Tuesday May 6, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Burial will be private in Highland Memorial Park.
