Sedella R. Poroda

Sedella "Suds" (Lewis) Poroda, 88, of Monongahela, passed away on Saturday June 21, 2025 in her home surrounded by family. She was born November 9, 1936, in Charleroi, the daughter of the late Ted and Edna (Clites) Lewis. Suds was a 1954 graduate of Charleroi High School. Christian by faith, she always enjoyed watching Little House on the Prairie and Jimmy Swaggert but most of all family was important to her, especially spending time with her grandchildren and loved celebrating Christmas together. Suds is survived by two sons, Edward J. Poroda of Monongahela and Bob Poroda (Donna McGrew) of Fallowfield Twp., a brother Carl (Irene) Lewis of Sun City, AZ; a grandson, Shane (Brittany) O'Toole of Allison Park; two great granddaughters Ella Rose and Freya Brynn O'Toole and several extended great grandchildren Layne Rice, and Anita, Violet, Murphy and Fiona McGrew. Preceding her in death was her husband Edward J. Poroda Sr. who passed away December 14, 2001 and a brother Paul "Bud" Lewis. Friends will be received in the Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, from 1 - 4:30pm Wednesday June 25, 2025 at which time services will begin with Rev. Jude Urso officiating.
