Sharon L. Levan

Sharon L. (Richards) Levan, age 75, widow of Leonard G. Levan, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA.
Born in Reading, PA, she was a daughter of the late Walter F. Richards Jr., and Ruth (Kummerer) Richards.
Sharon was a Pottstown High School Graduate class of 1968.
She was employed by Dames Chevrolet of Pottstown working in their business office; Snow King of Stowe as a meat packer; and was a secretary at Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ of Pottstown. Sharon was a customer service representative at Boscov's Department store; and a bank teller at Diamond Credit Union.
Sharon loved to play bingo at Friendship Hook & Ladder and the Senior Center of Boyertown. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Friendship Hook & Ladder. She loved listening to Doo Wop music, country - especially George Strait, and watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.
She is survived by her two daughters, Susan L. Levan, Pottstown; Linda D. Levan, Boyertown. Two grandchildren, Emma and Mason Nester. She was predeceased by one brother Walter F. Richards III.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11:00 am, on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.
