Shirley L. Wentz

Shirley L. Wentz, 93, of Alum Bank, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at home with her family by her side.
She was born on January 17, 1933, in Napier Township; daughter of the late Benjamin and Reta (Logue) McCreary.
On June 2, 1949, she was united in marriage to Delmar Wentz, who preceded her in death in 2001.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dwight; daughter, Sharron Tobin; grandson, Michael Clawson; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
She is survived by her children, Linda Moles and Bernard Wentz; 5 grandchildren, Scott Musselman, Katie Johnson, Jared Clawson, Matthew Wentz, and Monica Wentz; 11 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service at Noon with Pastor Clyde Lasure officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Interment will be at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
