Shirley Messer Turner

Mrs. Shirley Messer Turner, 82, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born in Gastonia, NC, Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Franklin Turner and her parents, Strawder and Pearl Martin Messer. She was retired from Kmart.
Survivors include her daughter, Maxine T. McGhee (Wayne) of Great Falls, SC; sons, Johnnie Turner II (Diane) of Lancaster, SC and Henry L. Turner of the home; brothers, Robert, Donnie and Houston Messer all of Gastonia, NC; sister, Ruth Messer of Lincolnton, NC, 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 12, 2021 at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.
