Shirley R. Barnett, 80, of Lincoln Highway, Manns Choice, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 23, 2023.
Shirley was born in Manns Choice on July 18, 1943, daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Stockenus) Bowen.
On September 22, 1960 she married James R. Barnett. Jim preceded her in death om February 10, 2018.
Mrs. Barnett is survived by son-Yancy and wife Robin (Mort) Barnett, of Bedford, daughter-Pamela wife of Mark D. Miller, of Manns Choice, grandson-Denton J. Griffith, granddaughter-Hope Barnett. Shirley was preceded in death by brothers-Dorsey, Donald, Harold "Bud", John "Ed", and sister-Thelma, and an infant brother and sister.
Mrs. Barnett was employed at the Fairfoot Shoe Factory, Cannondale, and Hedstrom. Shirley was a member of Tulls Hill Bible Church, enjoyed participating in the Young at Heart Games, and was an avid bowler.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, 25th of October, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mickle Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
Funeral Services Shirley Barnett will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Mickle Geisel Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Corbett officiating.
Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.
