Shirley Royer
August 13, 1932 - January 6, 2025 (Age 92)
Shirley A. Royer, 92, of Luther Acres, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025. Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Anna Mae (Petry) Miley. She was the wife of the late Kenneth E. Royer, who passed away in 2005.
She was a graduate of Lititz High School.
Shirley worked at the former Gimble’s Department store in Park City Mall. She enjoyed bowling, boating, and spending time with her family. Shirley and her companion loved to travel.
She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Akron.
In addition to her longtime companion of 20 years, Jake Longenecker, she is survived by two sons, Michael K. Royer husband of Carol and Kevin E. Royer husband of Lori. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Mike, Mark, Bradley; seven great-grandchildren: Peyton, Bella, Matthew, Bennett, Sophia, Olivia, and Isabella. She is preceded in death by her two sisters, Ginny, and Athea.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Spacht-Snyder Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 127 S. Broad St, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will follow in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. Family and friends will be received from 12-1 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday.
