Shirley Wolf
September 25, 1942 - January 8, 2024 (Age 81)
Shirley I. Wolf, 81, of Lancaster passed away Monday evening, January 8, 2024 at Abbeyville Nursing and Rehab Center. Born in Lancaster on September 25, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Theresa I. Blaskiewicz Hoin.
Shirley graduated from Lampeter Strasburg High School in 1960. Shirley worked many years for The Gatehouse for Woman as an office manager and also for Community Services Group as an office clerk. Shirley enjoyed making and selling items at vendor shows, especially for Christmas. She enjoyed reading, playing board games, crossword puzzles, baking and bingo. Shirley always enjoyed a little time spent at a casino. Shirley was proud to have a few books published that she wrote.
Shirley loved being around people and carrying on conversations, whether in person or on the phone. She was a very caring and giving person.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Lynn A. Albon of Williamsburg, VA and her son, Christopher E., husband of Cynthia Wolf of East Earl. Shirley is also survived by her grandson, Max; granddaughter, Theresa and great grandchildren, Aria and Xander. She was preceded in death by her brother, William A. Hoin.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Shirley's graveside service on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 1PM at the Riverview Burial Park, 1100 S. Duke Street, Lancaster with Pastor Robert Garvey officiating
