Sidney L. Moore
January 25, 1930 - April 23, 2021 (Age 91)
Sidney Lee Moore age 91 of Stallings, NC passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at Atrium Health Monroe. He was born January 25, 1930 in Mecklenburg, NC to parents Lester and Mamie Moore; both preceded him in death.
He loved gardening and his church, spending many years at Hartis Grove Baptist Church and Stallings United Methodist Church. He also had a lifelong career with Parnell Martin Plumbing. Sidney will be remembered as a gentle, sweet, kind soul who deeply loved his family.
Sidney is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Dorothy Campbell Moore, daughters; Brenda (Ronald) Suggs and Roxie (Mike) Rape, son Donald (Jan) Moore, grandchildren; Jennifer Suggs Dotson, Matthew Rape and Evan Rape, four great-grandchildren, four brothers and one sister.
In addition to his parents, Sidney is preceded in death by his grandson Jason Suggs.
A visitation will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 12:00PM-1:00PM at Stallings United Methodist Church. A funeral service will begin at 1:00PM and the burial will be following the service at Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family requests memorials be made to Stallings United Methodist Church.
