Sylvia Hughes Page, age 89, of Matthews, North Carolina, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Thursday, October 26, 2023.
She was born March 3, 1934, in Greer, South Carolina to the late Rhett and Leora Payne Hughes. Sylvia graduated from Taylors High School and Winthrop University.
Sylvia was a faithful, godly wife for 61 years to Bill Page. She was a member of McKee Road Baptist Church. Sylvia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a talented artist, an avid gardener, a joyful homemaker, a loyal friend, and a tireless volunteer and caregiver.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, Bill Page of Matthews, NC ; daughters, Kim (David) Coggins of Rolesville, NC and Krista Yenderusiak of Mount Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Reed Coggins of Atlanta, GA and Alison (Garth) McGee of Wake Forest, NC; great- grandchildren, Evelyn and Emma McGee.
She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Ben (Juna Bee) Hughes of Greer, SC; and son-in law, Bob Yenderusiak of Mount Pleasant, SC.
