Stanford D. Worrell

Stanford D. Worrell 78, of Everett, died Sunday, September 4, 2022 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 2, 1944 in Osterburg a son of the late Dean and Anna Jane (Mickle) Worrell. On November 5, 1965 in Cumberland, MD he married Patricia (McMillen) Worrell who survives of Bedford. He is also survived by three children: Brian Worrell, of New Paris, Lori Heming, of Bedford, and Heather Willey, of Carlisle; four grandchildren: Joshua Heming, Jonathon Heming, Kailey Riley, and Alyssa Riley; and a sister Valerie McCardell-Torres and husband Tony, of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Dwayne Worrell, a sister Vanessa Manges, and a brother John Kring, widow Connie surviving of Fishertown.
Stan was a graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School and worked for over 38 years at Kennametal before retirement. He was an avid sprint car racing fan, and attended races at Port Royal Speedway every week. Stan enjoyed watching sports, and visiting with his wife and dog Angel.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.
