Suzanne (Wingard) Lentz, 62, of Latrobe, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.
Born June 3, 1958 in Johnstown, she was the daughter of Judith (Kelly) Wingard of Boswell and the late Robert Wingard.
Suzanne was an active member at the Living Hope Church, Whitney. She was a teacher’s aid for Westmoreland Community Action through Head Start at Trinity Lutheran Church. Prior to that, she had been a Certified Nursing Assistant. Suzanne had a heart for serving others and loved to volunteer.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Jeanette West; and one niece, Amanda West.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Lentz of Latrobe; one daughter, Wendy J. Hause of Latrobe; one brother, Robert Wingard of Boswell; four step-children, Tracey Lentz, Thomas J. Lentz and his wife Jennifer, Timothy Lentz and his wife Brenna, and Theodore Lentz; four step-grandchildren; one step-great-greatgrandchild; and a nephew, Hillard “Chip” West.
There will be no public visitations. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and reception at 12:30 pm Thursday at Living Hope Church, Whitney. Inurnment at Westmoreland County Memorial Park is private. Arrangements are being handled by the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, LLC, 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe.
