Tamara "Sunny" K. Fischer

Tamara "Sunny" Fischer, 78, passed away on January 10, 2022. She was born on August 1, 1943 to Marvin and Ruth Watts.
Sunny graduated from West Mecklenburg High School in 1962. She married her husband, Ronald Fischer, after meeting him while serving with the US Army. They raised a family that included two sons and a grandson.
She enoyed her flower garden and enjoyed every flower under the sun. She was also gifted with crafts and would make a variety of artwork and paper collages that would brighten anyone's day. One common thing enjoyed by all her boys were that she would always go to their baseball games whenever possible. She also enjoyed long walks on the beach with her mother, Ruth, and they had an extensive collection of seashells to prove it.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Jeff Watts. She is survived by her sons, Ronald "Allen" Fischer and Kenny Fischer; her grandson, Matthew Fischer; her brothers, Tim Watts and Joel Watts; and her sister Faith McDaniel.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, January 14, 2022 at McEwen - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, NC. A graveside service will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Mint Hill, NC.
