Terrance Gnora

Terrance Gnora, age 76, of Donora, PA, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills, PA.
He was born on July 1,1948 in N. Charleroi, PA on the son of the late Paul Gnora and the late Mary Louise (Omasta) Gnora
Terry retired from the U.S postal service. He was a member of Donora American Legion post 212 where he served as a past commander, the St.. Dominic's Mens Club where he was serving as vice president and he was Chairman of the Donora Kennywood Committee
He was a member of the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish.
Terry was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army as a Staff Sargeant. He was stationed in Quy Nhon where he was a supply specialist in the U.S Army Depot Long My from May 1968 until December 1969. He served a second tour at the U.S. Army Depot Long My from June 1970 until his discharge in April 1971. He received the Army Commendation Medal (2), National defense Service Medal (2), Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon(2), and the NCO Professional Development Ribbon(2).
Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife Sandra (Gust) Gnora; a son John(Donna) Gnora of Donora; two daughters, Terri (Mike) Hall Oposky of Donora and Mary(David) Jericho of Donora; five grandchildren, Jacob Hall, Paul Lorenzo, Nick Lorenzo, Braden Gnora and Delaney Jericho; a brother Paul(Karen)Gnora of Donora; two brothers-in- law Ronald (Kathy) Mason and Edward (Betsy) Gust; and three sisters-in- law Alma Mason, Annette (Wesly) Winters and Patricia (George) Peck.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, November 25, 2024. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday November 26, 2024 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Donora Campus at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
