Terry A. Moxley

Terry A Moxley, 69, of Chalybeate Road, Bedford, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at UPMC Bedford.
Terry was born in Greensburg on October 5, 1952, son of the late Thomas and Helen (Mowry) Moxley.
He married his wife Jackie on September 24, 1977.
He is survived by wife- Jackie (Faupel) Moxley, Bedford; son- Matthew Moxley, State College; daughter- Meredith wife of David Henderson, State College; granddaughters- Maris and Mira Henderson, State College; brother- Mitch Moxley, New Paris; brother- Scott husband of Lynn (Davison) Moxley, Bedford.
Terry was a member of Bedford Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon. He was a long-time Board of Directors for DBHS (Developmental and Behavioral Health Services). He was also active in local volunteer opportunities and loved showing visitors on tour bus visitors his beautiful Bedford County.
Terry was employed at the Department of Welfare for over 30 years but found his true calling in retirement. Terry loved his family fiercely, and his relationship with his children and grandchildren was filled with fun and laughter. Their trips to the Outer Banks were a highlight each year. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, especially at his land in Foreman, PA. He lived his life by the principles of helping others and having fun. Terry never met a stranger and will be missed by so many.
Friends and family will be received Thursday, May 19, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home. A visitation will follow Friday, May 20, at 9 AM to 10 AM at the Bedford Presbyterian Church.
A funeral service for will be held on Friday, May 20, at 10 AM at Bedford Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jack Miller officiating. Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Terry A Moxley to The Arc of Centre County at 171 Technology Drive Suite 400, Boalsburg, PA. 16827 which takes such wonderful care of his son, Matt.
A Celebration of life gathering will be held at a later time at Terry's request.
