In Loving Memory

Tracie Michelle Miranda-Hess
January 3, 1974 – May 2, 2025

Tracie Michelle Miranda-Hess went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 2, 2025, after a valiant battle with glioblastoma brain cancer.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Joshua Shane Hess, and their son, Liam Sean Hess, of Pottstown, PA. She is also survived by her mother, Madeline Miranda of Pottstown, PA; her father, William Miranda of Central Islip, NY; her half-sister, Taylor Denninger (Miranda) of Mount Sinai, NY; and her half-brother, William C. Miranda of Colorado Springs, CO.

Tracie lived a life of deep faith, compassion, and purpose. She served as a board member of the Inter-Tribal Council for AT&T Employees (ICAE) and Reflections of Turtle Island (ROTI) and was an active member of Chester Springs Vineyard Church. She had a passion for genealogy, using her skills not only to trace her own roots but to help reunite adoptees with their biological families.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Stony Brook University in New York, graduating as a classically trained vocalist. Tracie shared her musical gifts generously, serving faithfully on her church’s worship team and leading worship in small groups. Though she trained in music, Tracie worked professionally as an engineer at AT&T — a path she often described as “the type of thing only God could do.”

She was also a gifted artist who loved painting with acrylics and oils.

But her greatest joy was time spent with her son and family. One of their most cherished traditions was traveling together to church conferences across the country with their church family.
Tracie will be remembered for her empathy, especially for the marginalized and voiceless, and for her unwavering faith and love for others.
