Vaughn Zimmers

Vaughn A. Zimmers, 61, of Greensburg, passed away Monday, Nov. 22, 2021. Vaughn was born Nov. 24, 1959, in Greensburg, son of the late Charles and Galia Zimmers, of Greensburg. Vaughn was the owner/operator of Nu Way Coin-Operated Laundry and worked as a maintenance technician for Weatherwood Manor. He also owned a painting contracting business for many years. Vaughn could fix just about anything and always enjoyed spending time in the outdoors doing the things he loved like hunting, skiing and spending time on the water. He also was a talented photographer. Vaughn is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Zimmers and her husband, Kevin Handy; his sister, Virginia Wigginton and her husband, Doug; his nephew, Aaron Hutson and his wife, Amy; and several cousins, including special cousins, Myra Whysong-Krentz and Madean Ross. No funeral services were held. He was laid to rest at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
