Mrs. Vergie Lee Jackson Roseboro, 94, was born on October 3, 1932, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, to Tom Jackson and Mattie Strong. On Sunday, October 11, 2026, she passed peacefully at Chandler Place and went home to be with the Lord.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 19, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Parker Funeral Home Chapel.
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Vergie Lee Jackson Roseboro will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Flint Hill Baptist Church, 1214 Flint Hill Street, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29730.
Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park–Cherry Road, 620 S. Cherry Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29732.
We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life, we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
