Vernie Rae Tarlton
August 14, 1938 - October 31, 2024 (Age 86)
Mrs. Vernie Rae Tarlton passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024, at Atrium Mercy Hospital in Charlotte with her daughter Elaine and granddaughter April by her bedside. She died on the birthday of her grandson, Joel, who preceded her in death and who most assuredly was there to meet her when she crossed over.
Vernie is survived by her children: Elaine (husband Danny), Joseph and Michael. Vernie is further survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends. A kind, sweet soul, Vernie will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. Rest in peace Mama, we all love you.
Vernie’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for her and for them. Graveside services led by Mr. Michael Neddo will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Charlotte, NC 28227.
