Victor D. Dozzi Sr.
March 14, 1938 – September 8, 2026 (Age 88)
Victor D. Dozzi, Sr., age 88, of Penn Township, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. He was born on March 14, 1938 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Angelo and Julia (Martorelli) Dozzi.
Victor was a forensic engineer at the time of retirement from Ron Lapina and Associates, and spent the majority of his career as a civil engineer with International Technology. He was also a parishioner of St. Barbara Catholic Church. Victor had many hobbies over the years including sailing, making golf clubs, gardening day lilies and vegetables, woodworking, genealogy, and reading, especially detective novels and history.
Victor is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Alice M. (Wilson) Dozzi; two loving children, Giulia Dozzi and Victor (partner, Richard Eckman) Dozzi, Jr.; his brother, Ernie (wife, Marion) Dozzi; a nephew and two nieces. In addition to his parents, Victor was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan (Galardi) Dozzi.
Friends will be received on Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 2-8 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, PO Box 465, Harrison City, 724-744-2721. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 11 AM at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Harrison City, PA. Private interment will take place in the Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
