Vincent Conforti

June 6, 1943 - January 19, 2026 (Age 82)

Vincent J. Conforti, 82, of Greensburg, died Friday, January 9, 2026, in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. He was born June 6, 1943, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late James and Effie (Oginski) Conforti. Prior to retirement, he had been employed by Henry Printing, Greensburg. He and his wife, Virginia, also owned and operated Fun Time Travel, organizing bus trips to various cities.

He was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. Vince was a lifelong firefighter and a proud lifetime member of the Fort Allen Fire Company. He was also a proud and devoted member of the Loyal Order of Moose, where he held numerous leadership roles, including Lodge President, Legionnaire, and Pilgrim, the highest honor within the organization.

Vince loved working on projects around the house and took great pride in what he built with his own hands. He built the kitchen addition and a large back porch, where he especially loved sitting with his wife and family, enjoying the rainstorms most of all. He also transformed the basement into a game room and completed many other improvements throughout their home. In later years, he loved spending time on the back porch, watching the garden grow.

Vince had a natural ability to solve problems and fix whatever needed attention. He was sharp with computers and technology and remained curious, capable, and mentally sharp until the very end.

Above all though, family was the most important to Vince. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who affectionately called him Pop-Pop. He enjoyed joking with them and watching their accomplishments. He and Virginia enjoyed 58 loving years together and adored her beyond words.

Vince is survived by his wife, Virginia E. (Jockel) Conforti; his son, Jim Conforti; his daughter, Kim Varriano (Patsy); two grandchildren, Julie Anne Regina and Charles Varriano; three great grandsons, Sean, Isaac, and Elijah; his sister-in-law, Pat Shepler (Arnold); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends will be received from 11 AM to 2 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a funeral liturgy will immediately follow at 2 PM. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
