Virginia "Ginger" Hollar Smith, of Charlotte, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Liberty Commons Royal Park. She was born in Asheville, NC daughter of the late John William Hollar, Jr. and Betty Louise Hollar. She is survived by her brothers, Thomas E. "Tom" Hollar, John W. “Sonny” Hollar, III, his wife, Susan B. Hollar, nieces,Laura E Hollar, Marilyn H Hernandez, and nephew, David R Hollar. A service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00am Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Eastway Baptist Church, 2749 Eastway Drive, Charlotte, NC. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
