Virginia Hileman

Virginia (Gin) M. Hileman, 98, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Greater Pittsburgh, Greensburg, PA. She was born September 18, 1927, in Filbert, WV, the daughter of the late Henry Bochneak and Mary Was, Manor, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Dorothy, Edward, Wallace, Chester, Theodore, and James. Surviving is her brother, Daniel (Donna) Bochneak of Crystal Lake, IL. She was a graduate of Penn Joint High School in Claridge.

Virginia will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family, her children, Karen Hileman; Sandra Chalmers and her husband, Paul, grandchildren, Amanda & Bryan, and Keith; and daughter, Brenda Rackliffe and her husband, Gary, and grandsons, Kyle and Ryan; and many special nephews and nieces, Mark & Rebecca Hileman; Jimmy & Jane Bochneak; special friends, Lisa Wiseman and Deb Brooks. She was preceded in death in May 2009 by her husband, Kenneth R. Hileman of 56 years. She loved spending time with her family, shopping, baking, sewing, and playing bingo. Virginia would do anything for those she loved and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She never considered anyone a stranger. She was the world's greatest grandmother. The family would like to thank Senior Helpers of Greensburg, Excela in Home Health Services Private Duty, and RNC of Greensburg for their loving care over the last several years. Friends will be received on Friday from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Ave. Irwin, Pa 15642. A Blessing service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Penn Lincoln Cemetery, North Huntingdon, PA.
