Walter Charles Wanner

Walter Charles Wanner, age 81, of Trafford passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 in UPMC East, Monroeville. Walter was born on November 24, 1943 in Braddock the son of the late Charles and Thelma (Estep) Wanner. Walter was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War. He loved to walk around his town of Trafford, he loved Christmas time, his grandchildren and making pizzelles. Walter is survived by his children Jeffrey Wanner, Melissa Pendleton (John) and Daniel Wanner; his nine grandchildren Paige, Chase, Madison, Nathan, Leah, Madison, Layla, Makenzie, and Mason; his four great-grandchildren Rosaline, Scarlet, Liam and Ashton; his three sisters Lucille Buell, Joyce Frantz (William) and Carolyn Gasparovic; and his sister-in law Heather Wanner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Wanner. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th Street (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111. Funeral services will be on Monday in the funeral home at 1 PM with Jimmy Koehn officiating.
