Wanda Lee Gerhart

Wanda Lee Gerhart, age 73, wife of the late Robert C. Gerhart, of Douglassville, PA, formerly New Hanover Township, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in the Reading Hospital. Born on October 31, 1952 on a military base in Frankfurt, Germany, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Rae June (Dorey) Keaveney.

Mrs. Gerhart was a 1971 graduate of Norristown High School. Throughout her life she worked production for several companies, including Stanley Tools and Imperial Chemical Industries, where she met her husband. She most recently went on to hold an administrative clerical position at Waste Management from which she retired.

Mrs. Gerhart was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved vacationing with her family in Cape May, NJ and fishing with her husband. As a proud mom, she loved spoiling her girls, and as a doting grandmother and great-grandmother, she cherished the time she spent with her family. She always looked forward to outings with her brothers and sisters. She adored her cats, and she enjoyed watching her game shows and many movies many times over.

Mrs. Gerhart is survived by two daughters, Dana L., wife of Nicholas Gilbert and Danielle A., wife of Joshua Smith; four grandchildren, Gabriel, Justin, Natalie and Grace; two great-grandchildren, Allison and Jasper; six siblings, John Keaveney, Sara Keaveney, Gale Keaveney, Karen Evans, Rodger Keaveney, and Raymond Keaveney; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Linda Keaveney, Vicki Goodyear, and Paul Keaveney.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the funeral home on Monday morning.
