Wendi Renee (Rucker) Decker, 47, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Genesis Hospital. She was born May 18, 1974, in Zanesville to Mark A. and Ellen Gildow Rucker. She was a 1992 graduate of West Muskingum High School and received her Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. Wendi loved Ohio State football, vacations to Myrtle Beach and spending time boating. She was a big fan of Snow White and baked the best cookies in the world.
She is survived by her husband Mark Decker; her mother Ellen Rucker; her step children: Cheyanne (Matt) Milby, Madeline Decker and Noah Underwood; two sisters: Lindsay Rucker and Karen Rucker; a brother Brad Rucker; two grandchildren: Beau and Romy; Aunt Didi to Joey, Danny and Alex Rucker; her beloved dogs: Penny and Callie; sister in law Karen (Anthony) Wilson; brother in law Steve (Donna) Ross; aunts and uncles: Fred (Viqui) Gildow, Kenny (Tracy) Gildow, Linda (Joe) Rocca, Karen (Thad) Andrews, Jane (Joel) Melin, Kay Lavelle, Dale (Brenda) Rucker; many cousins, great cousins and friends (far too many to list).
She was preceded in death by her father Mark A. Rucker; and her grandparents: Fred and Betty Gildow and Ace and Joan Rucker.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 5PM Sunday, January 30 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME; 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. The funeral will be at 1PM Monday, January 31, in the Snouffer Chapel with Father Martin J. Ralko officiating. Burial to follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
