Wendy Wian Obituary
Wendy L. Wian, 84, of Greensburg, died Thursday, September 17, 2026, at her home. She was born August 10, 1942, in Greensburg. Prior to retirement, Wendy worked as a secretary for Hempfield Township Parks and Recreation. She was a member of Church of the Brethren in Greensburg where she taught vacation bible school. She also enjoyed baking.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Vinsek; and two sisters, Laurel McEwen and Virginia Crosby. Wendy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Donald Wian; three children, Timothy Wian, Todd Wian (Hazel), and Darcy Harbert; seven grandchildren, Brandi, Owen, Hope, Kennedy, Ryan, Joshua, and Libby; her great-granddaughter, Laurel; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Stephen Parfitt officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
