William Huffman

William “Bill” Huffman, age 89, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on May 4, 2024, with family at his side. Bill was born on May 31, 1934, in London, OH. He lived a long life as a man that always put others before him, and most of all Bill cherished his family. Always game for a good joke, Bill had an infectious laugh and a smile that just made you feel welcomed in his presence. He loved his scratch offs, Buckeyes, and enjoyed many a bourbon over the years. He spent his days in retirement visiting his family and dropping off his trademark bourbon meatloaf, pickled eggs and always accompanied them with a goodie bag of groceries. He loved watching Law & Order, Cash Explosion and having a laugh watching Family Guy.

Bill is preceded in death by his daughter Kathy Ruth; son, Richard Huffman; sons in law Gary Smith and Bob Ruth; Brothers & Sisters, Curtis Huffman, Kenneth Huffman, Harold Huffman, Betty Gregg and Helen Stischok. He is survived by his son, Brock (Carla) Huffman and daughter, Quentina “Tina” Smith, and son, Daniel (Donna) Huffman; grandchildren, Mike, Sirena, Shane and Casey; great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends, Thursday, May 9, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12 Noon with Pastor Timothy Lee officiating at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207. Interment to follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens in Westerville, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Bill to Mount Carmel Hospice www.donor.mountcarmelfoundation.org
