William J. Stinard
May 15, 1934 - January 31, 2023 (Age 88)
William “Bill” Joseph Stinard, 88 of Zanesville passed away peacefully at 1:04 A.M. Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Genesis Hospital.
Bill was born May 15, 1934 in Stow, Ohio the son of the late Harold Stinard and Dorothy Dye Stinard.
He graduated from Stow High School in 1952 and graduated with a degree in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University in 1956. Bill owned Stinard Drugs in Zanesville, Sheeran Drug Company in New Lexington and then worked for Shriver’s Pharmacy and Kroger Pharmacy until his retirement. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, a member of the LaFayette Lodge #79 F & AM, the Amrou Grotto #45 and was a former member of the Zanesville Country Club. Bill was an avid golfer and proud owner of 5 holes in one.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nancy Moeller Stinard, whom he married Nov. 3, 1957; children, Craig (Nancy) Stinard, Scott (Karen) Stinard, and Lynn (Kevin) Bauch; nine grandchildren; Michelle, Ben, Brian & Erin Stinard, Tanner (Kandace) Stinard, Lonna (Jacob) Baxter, Kaili (Corey) Tobin, Alison and Nicole Bauch; 4 great grandchildren, Henry, Owen and Maisie Baxter & Reece Tobin; Step grandchildren, Robert (Katie) Bauch and Charles Bauch; step great grandchildren, Marie-Claire & Luca Bauch; a sister, Deanna; a brother-in-law, Conrad (Debbie) Moeller. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 P.M. on Friday, February 3, 2023 at the Bryan and Hardwick Funeral Home with Masonic Services at 5:00 PM followed by Grotto Services led by the LaFayette Lodge #79. Funeral service with one hour visitation prior, will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Andrew Wilson officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park.
