William M. Malis, Jr.

William M. Malis Jr., 66, of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Westmoreland Hospital. He was born August 11, 1954 in Greensburg, to William and Dorothy (Kidd) Malis. William was very involved with the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in North Huntingdon and enjoyed reading the newspaper, traveling with his Mom to Hawaii, and taking many bus trips. William is survived by his beloved sister, Marilyn (Jerry) Thomas; nieces and nephews, Shelley (Vince), Jerry (Trish), and Jim; great-nieces and great-nephews, Rena (Garrett), Zach (Amber), Jessica, Kaylee (Chad), Karissa, Krista, Isabella, Gavin and Aubrie; great-great nephew, Lynkin; several cousins; and his beloved cat, Cinnamon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Matthew Malis; and many aunts and uncles. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Sunday at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City (724-744-2721). Per CDC Guidelines, masks will be required for unvaccinated individuals and all who feel more comfortable wearing one. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Monday at Penn-Zion Lutheran Church, with Rev. Roger Steiner, officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
