William D. Painter

William Darrell Painter, 93, of Harrison City, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023. He was born on September 21, 1929 in Export, to the late Emery and Elsie (Stump) Painter.
William is a veteran of the United States Navy. He later retired from Pittsburgh Brass Manufacturing after working with them for over 20 years. He was a member of Jeannette Masonic Lodge #750 F.&A.M. of Pennsylvania. In addition, he was a life-long member of the Harrison City Fire Department, and Club 87 Social Hall.
William is survived by his son, Eric (Sheri) Painter; grandchildren, Ryan Painter, Chad Painter and Jenna Painter. He was preceded in death by his son, William M. Painter; brothers, Ben Painter, Bob Painter, Carl Painter, Warren Painter, Al Painter, and Russell Painter; sisters, Dorothea Geiger, Lorraine Painter and also by an infant sister.
Friends will be received Monday, April 10, 2023, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, with a Masonic service at 6:00 pm and a Harrison City Volunteer Fire Department Service being held at 7:00 pm at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, 10:30 am, with Pastor Jerrad Peterman officiating. Burial will be held in Jeannette Memorial Park.
