Jean L. Yanos, 98, of Delmont, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 15, 2026. She was born September 21, 1927, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Edgar and Melva Everett Dean. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Vonetta Davis. Jean is survived by a son, Keith (Laurie) Yanos, of N. Huntingdon; two daughters: Andrea Petrill, of Jeannette, and Michele McCombs, of Greensburg; four grandchildren: Jennifer (Doug) Siko, Jamie (Greg) Paterno, Dr. Megan Yanos, DVM, and Dr. Casey Yanos, PhD; five great-grandchildren: Zachary, Bailey, Michael, Madilyn, and Anna; two sisters: Evelyn Malinish, of NC, and Lorraine Howell, of Delmont; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. The funeral service and entombment will be private.
