Creta Ilene James, 86 of Zanesville, passed away January 28, 2022 at Adams Lane Care Center.
She was born May 12, 1935 in Roseville, OH, daughter of the late, Homer Dement and Grace Adrian.
She is survived by her son Gregory (Fran) James; daughter Denise James; sister Pauline Gaskins; grandchildren, Zane James, Dallas James and Bay James.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl H. James; brothers, Chuck Dement, Doc Dement, Frank Dement, Junior Dement.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 Monday, January 31, 2022 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 1, 2022 with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
