Estelle J. Staso

Estelle J. “Cookie” (Pivornik) Staso, age 92, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, August 25, 2022 in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born October 13, 1929 in North Braddock, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Pivornik. In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband Paul Staso and grandson William Staso. She was a member of St. Agnes Church and St. Agnes Christian Mothers. Cookie graduated in 1947 from Scott High School, North Braddock. She is the loving mother of Sharyn Zalno and her husband Leonard of Harrison City, Greg Staso and his wife Janet of Harrisburg, Mark Staso and his wife Michele of North Huntingdon, Scott Staso and his wife Bonnie of Ellicott City MD and Beth Anne DeBastiani and her husband Duane of Moon Twp. She was a beloved grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; sister in law of Betty Staso. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, at St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon at 10:00 am. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Ott Funeral Home, Inc.
