Jess Herman Obert, age 54, born December 6, 1967 to Herman John and Lena (Farley) Obert of Canal Winchester. Jess passed away on December 23, 2021 in Columbus, OH. Preceded in death by; grandparents; Jesse and Bessie Farley, and Herman Louis and Anna Obert; great grandparents; Herman Joseph and Ruth “Apple Grandma” Obert. Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Lisa (Steve) Wycuff, brother, Donald (Meredith) Obert, brother/cousin Michael (Wanda) Farley. Nieces and nephews; April (Moe) Osman, Shane (Jessi) Wycuff, Tyler Wycuff, Emily Wycuff, Erica (Heath) Cordle, Breanna Dowell, and Michael Dowell and 9 great nieces and nephews. He was an avid collector of Hot Wheels and enjoyed spending time at Indian Lake. Visitation on Wednesday, 4-7 pm at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 1068 S. High St., Columbus, where services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Burial at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Pastor Chris Andrews officiating.
