John M. Jones

John Michael Jones, 76, of Bovard, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022. He was born June 9, 1945, in Luxor, a son of the late William R. and Catherine (Benavich) Jones. Prior to retirement, John worked as a tankman for Westmoreland Glass. He was an incredibly hard worker who adored his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death a son, Michael J. Jones; sister, Patricia Jones; and brothers, Joseph, Charles and Dennis Jones. Surviving are his loving wife, Bonnie J. (Smoker) Jones; son, Franklin Jones; daughter, Tina Jones; daughter, Marlene Wallace; seven grandchildren, Cecily Beighley, Steven Beighley Jr., David Phillabaum, Marlana Phillabaum, Travis Beighley, Brooklyn Jones and Montana Wallace; four great-grandchildren, Johnny Thompson, Layne Baker, Braelyn Jones, and Addlyn Nash; sister, Rose Marie Smith; and brothers, Harry Jones, Kenny Jones, Robert Jones (Gerri), Daniel Jones, Paul Jones, Donald Jones (Sandy) and Russell Jones. Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
