Kenneth W. Rupe
June 11, 1954 - February 15, 2023 (Age 68)
Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Rupe, 68 of Zanesville died 1:06 AM Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Ohio State University Medical Center following a short illness.
He was born on June 11, 1954 in Belpre Ohio the son of the late Ronald Rupe and Helen Smith Rupe.
Kenny graduated from Belpre High School & then graduated from Hocking Technical College with a degree in Recreation & Wildlife Management. He worked for the Muskingum County Ohio Soil & Water Conservation District for over 40 years and mostly enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends as well as outdoor nature photography. Kenny was very skilled with working with flint, making arrowheads and traveled to many trade shows.
He is survived by his cousins, Joyce Hernandez, Gloria Floyd, Patrick Whitehead and Patricia Laster; several special fishing buddies and his dear friends & neighbors, Joe & Becky Martin and Carol Cosgray.
Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday, February 20, 2023 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Pastor Clay Hannum officiating.
The Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville is in charge of the arrangements.
