Margaret “Pat” Smith, age 91, of Canal Winchester passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Arbors at Carroll. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 31, 1930, the daughter of James and Mary (Rhinehart) Hanley. Pat was extremely talented with ceramics, and she had a passion for cooking.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Fred Smith; children, Robert (Shellie) Good, of Florida, Elizabeth (Gary) Demarco, of Florida, and Michael Good, of Missouri; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brother, James (Nancy) Hanley, of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kathleen Roberts; sister, Elaine Hanley.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda. Burial will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
