Mary B. Grice
April 26, 1943 - February 8, 2022 (Age 78)
Mary Belle Stancil Grice, age 78, passed away on the 8th of February 2022. She was born April 26, 1943 in Mecklenburg County to the late Archie James Stancil and Lessie Belle Wilson Stancil.
She worked 30 years in a sewing factory, Stately Lady Nationwide-States Manufactory. In 2009, she retired from Loomis Armored after 15 years of service.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Hileman of Fort Mill, SC, and three sons, Billy Grice of Hickory, NC, James Grice of Charlotte, NC, and David Grice of Lancaster, SC. one sister, Francis Quick, of Georgia. She also has six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was a member of Porter Baptist Church in Norwood, NC.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday evening, February 10, 2022, from 5:00PM until 6:00PM, at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood, followed by a short memorial service in the chapel. The graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Garden in Mint Hill, NC on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 3:00PM. Service will be officiated by Reverend Flynn Richardson.
