Ned G. Dulin
February 8, 1939 - December 6, 2022 (Age 83)
On Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 Ned Garrison Dulin, a beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away at his home in Mint Hill, NC surrounded by family at the age of 83.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Doris Dulin, Daughters: Terry Runyan, Jackie Walton (Michael), Rhonda Clontz (Paul), 10 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
He is survived by brothers and sisters: Peggy Morris, Joyce Crocker, Alma Thomas, Fred Dulin, Judy Mullis, Phyllis Currie, Danny Dulin, Brother in law Buddy Paris, and Sister in law Jeri Paris, numerous Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and May Dulin. He was also preceded in death by 7 siblings: Jay Dulin, Buddy Dulin, Howard Dulin, Rachel Richardson, Mildred Norris, Harvey Dulin and Willie Love, Brother in law, J.W. Paris, Son in Law, Mike Runyan.
Ned was a truck driver for 30+ years. When he “retired”, he went to work at Dulin Mechanical picking up and delivering parts.
He enjoyed dirt track racing, Nascar, Classic Cars, tilling/plowing gardens and just being with family and his trusty sidekick “Luke”.
Although saying goodbye is extremely difficult, we find comfort in knowing Ned is with his Lord and Savior and we will see him again one day.
A visitation for Ned will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at Mint Hill Baptist Church, 7835 Matthews Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227. Funeral services will follow at 1:30pm. Ned will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
